The present invention provides for an on-line golf tee-off time reservation system for permitting a golf tee- off time to be offered and booked at short notice. The system comprises a web site provided on a server computer connected to a network; the web site including, i) a database of tee-off times available at a plurality of golf courses within the following twenty-four hours, the database including fields of information for each available golf course and tee-off time, ii) a data entry means to permit the entry of the information on the tee-off times into the database records, iii) an it implementation means to enable the promotion of the tee-off times for a predetermined interval, and iv) a means to enable the tee-off times being promoted to be viewed and booked by a potential consumer utilizing a client computer connected to the network.
