GONG STRIKING MECHANISM Abstract of the Disclosure A gong striking mechanism is provided, which comprises an electric motor mounted on a frame within a gong. A conversion unit is rotationally connected directly or indirectly to the motor shaft for converting continuous rotational motion to reciprocal gong striking motion. Resilient elements are provided to absorb impact forces during the gong striking motion and are disposed between the motor and a hammer.
