A skin sealant composition having a film former like cyanoacrylate and a goniochromic dye or pigment is provid-ed. The addition of mica/metal oxide powders to the sealant formulation makes it possible to see where it has been applied, due to the mica/metal oxide's goniochromic (e.g. irhdescent or pearlescent) appearance, and it is also still possible to view the underlying skin, especially from an angle at which the color is less apparent. Thus, mica/titanium dioxide or other goniochromic or light in-terfering particles may be used as an additive to allow for determination of complete coverage, while not significantly obscuring the incision site.

L'invention concerne une composition de film de protection cutanée contenant une matière filmogène comme le cyanoacrylate et un colorant ou pigment goniochromatique. L'addition de poudres d'oxyde métallique/mica aux formulations de film de protection permet de visualiser l'endroit de l'application, du fait de l'aspect goniochromatique de l'oxyde de métal/mica (par ex, iridescent ou perlé) et il est également encore possible de voir la peau sous-jacente, en particulier depuis un angle où la couleur est moins apparente.
