GRAIN LIFTING AND DISCHARGE APPARATUS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus is disclosed for the lifting and discharging of grain employing plug flow to minimize grain damage, dusting and wear and tear. A belt carrying lightweight buckets is operated at relatively low speed and is trained around a head and a tail pulley. The lip of the buckets projects outwardly from the belt surface a predetermined distance. The speed of the belt, the effective diameter of the head pulley and the bucket projection from the belt and are correlated. to provide the desired discharge flow from the buckets.
