A composition comprising said microorganism and a method for degrading fatty acids and grease are also disclosed. Availability of glycerol to the biodegrading microorganism was discovered to enhance biodegradation.
L'invention concerne un micro-organisme gram-positif, Bacillus megaterium qui dégrade correctement et avec efficacité les graisses, les huiles et les matières grasses. L'invention a aussi pour objet une composition comprenant ledit micro-organisme et un procédé pour dégrader les acides gras et les graisses. L'invention traite aussi de la disponibilité du glycérol pour le micro-organisme de biodégradation, qui permet d'améliorer le processus de biodégradation.
