ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present specification describes and claims a grandstand unit for use in providing seating at open- air events. The unit basically provides tiered rows of seating within a box-like framework of standard cargo container size. Thus the unit may be readily transported to a desired location and used, when secured on a standard cargo container carrying truck or trailer. Further the units may be stacked for use or storage purposes, enabling, the trucks or trailers to be used for conventional purposes. -1-
