ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A granulated food dispenser for home use is disclosed which automatically dispenses just enough powered or granulated food such as coffee for a single cup, comprising a funnel-shaped food container having a metering slide-type dispenser at its lower end, a stand to support the container above a cup manually inserted within the stand and a tongue depending from the slide of the dispenser and abutting against the cup to operate the dispenser automatically and discharge a metered quantity of food into the cup upon cup insertion within the stand. All parts can be taken apart for washing.
