A process for the manufacture of a corn starch granulate possessing resistance to enzymatic degradation upon oral administration, comprising the steps: a) granulating native corn starch by cautions mixing of a granulation fluid comprising methyl cellulose or ethyl cellulose as a binder, ethanol or water as a solvent, corn starch and a sweetener; b) subjecting the granulated material resulting from step a) to wet sieving; c) drying the granulate obtained in step b) at a temperature less than about 55 ~C to avoid gelatinization of the corn starch; and d) sizing the dried granulate from step c) by dry sieving. A corn starch granulate and a corn starch granulate tablet.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de granulés d'amidon de maïs résistants à la dégradation enzymatique suivant leur administration orale, qui comporte les étapes suivantes: (a) granulation d'amidon de maïs natif par brassage précautionneux d'un fluide granulogène, d'un liant de méthyl cellulose ou d'éthyl cellulose, d'un solvant d'éthanol ou d'eau, d'amidon de maïs, et d'un édulcorant; (b) criblage humide des granulés obtenus en (a); (c) séchage des granulés obtenus en (b) à une température inférieure à environ 55 DEG C pour empêcher la gélatinisation de l'amidon; et (d) calibrage des granulés secs obtenus en (c) par criblage à sec. L'invention porte également sur les granulés d'amidon de maïs ainsi obtenus et sur des comprimés en étant faits.
