A GRANULATION PROCESS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for producing, from powdered material, granules of inorganic salts which do not decompose at their temperature of liquefaction, comprises (a) heating a salt in a melting furnace to effect the liquefaction thereof; and (b) spraying the liquified salt into a cooling chamber in contact with a cooling fluid to effect the cooling and solidification of the liquified salt into solid granules.
