ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for carrying out graphic reproduction printing to produce prints of one or more colours. The process comprises the sequential steps of (a) preparing a black and white film negative or positive of the image to be reproduced; (b) exposing a resin coated photographic print paper to the image from the negative or positive; (c) developing and fixing the exposed print paper; (d) removing with a solvent solution the emulsion from areas of the print paper which were exposed to light; (e) applying a desired dye over the surface of the print paper; and (f) applying as required a releasing agent over the surface of the print paper to remove the dye from unexposed areas thereof. The process according to the present invention provides a more economical alternative to costly silk screen and offset reproduction graphic printing techniques, while providing a quality product having good image resolution.
