A method is provided for displaying performance metrics of a cellular communication system having a plurality of system elements. The method includes the steps of creating a hierarchical display 10 of the plurality of system elements with a first element of the plurality of system elements depicted at a center of the hierarchical display and an at least second element of the plurality of system elements radiating from the center in hierarchical order. The method further includes selecting a performance metric of the elements of the cellular communication system and displaying the performance metric of each element of the cellular communication system as a color value within the hierarchical display. Apparatus is also provided in support of the method.
