Disclosed is a method of indicating the position of multiple selections of objects in a windowed computer user interface. The method includes displaying objects to be selected in a window which includes a scroll bar. When objects in a the window are selected, a marker icon is automatically placed in the scroll bar in response to such selection.

Méthode permettant d'indiquer la position de sélections multiples d'objets dans une interface-utilisateur à fenêtres pour ordinateur. La méthode consiste à afficher notamment des objets à sélectionner dans une fenêtre comprenant une barre de défilement. Lorsque des objets de la fenêtre sont sélectionnés, un marqueur sous forme d'icône apparaît automatiquement dans la barre de défilement en réponse à cette sélection.
