Objects of a graphical user interface are maintained in the form of relational tables. The objects include graphical parts, e.g., boxes, arrows, icons, etc., as well as procedure moduels. A message to an object of the user interface is interpreted into a tupple or format of a table and then one or more operations to one or more relational tables are executed to call a required procedure module.
