ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved tree top harvester for use in association with a helicopter is disclosed. The apparatus includes a collection basket, a pair of grapple arms, and a saw. Trees collected in the basket may be dropped, at a predetermined site. The apparatus provides economy in time, and permits accurate selection of tree tops by the helicopter operator.
