A method and device are provided for securing an optical fiber Bragg grating to a retaining element having a helical groove. In accordance with the method, an optical fiber Bragg grating is wrapped around the retaining element so that the optical fiber Bragg grating extends in and along the helical groove. Next, an excess length of the optical fiber Bragg grating is provided in the helical groove to substantially alleviate tension exerted upon the optical fiber Bragg grating. Finally, the first and second ends of the fiber Bragg grating are affixed to the retaining element.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant la fixation d'un réseau de Bragg de fibre optique à un élément de retenue doté d'une rainure hélicoïdale. Selon le procédé de l'invention, un réseau de Bragg de fibre optique est enroulé autour de l'élément de retenue, de manière que ledit réseau de Bragg de fibre optique s'étende dans et le long de la rainure hélicoïdale. Le réseau de Bragg de fibre optique dans la rainure hélicoïdale est trop long, de sorte que la tension exercée sur celui-ci soit réduite.
