A B S T R A C T GRAVEL BAG CONSTRUCTION FOR ARCTIC OFFSHORE DRILLING BASE A building unit in the form of a bag of strong flexible material capable of holding a ton or more of sand and gravel, the bag being tapered upwardly and inwardly toward an open end of reduced size and being provided with a pair of drawcords in a spaced-apart relationship near the top of the bag sufficient so that when the top drawcord closes the upper end it can be tucked into the bag below the lower drawcord before pulling the latter closed.
