An arrangement for mounting at last one tidal turbine (l) and its associated support structures (4) in a river or sea bed, characterised by mounting the turbine (1) and associated support structures (4) upon a base/foundation structure (8, 15) of such weight as to involve gravitational forces of such magnitude as to be sufficient to withstand forces acting in such manner as to tend to displace the turbine (1) and its associated support structures. (4, 8, 15), the base/foundation structure being pre-assembled and is of such construction as to be transportable to a required location of installation for lowering to the sea or river bed. Conveniently the transportation is by means of an installation vessel (9) incorporating a facility (12, 13) for lowering the entire assembly of a turbine (1), a support column (4) therefor, and the base/foundation structure (8, 15) in a controlled manner to rest at a desired position on the river or sea bed (SB).
La présente invention concerne un agencement pour monter au moins une turbine marémotrice (1) et ses structures de support associées (4) dans un lit de rivière ou un fond marin, caractérisé en montant la turbine (1) et les structures de support associées (4) sur une structure de base/fondation (8, 15) de poids tel à impliquer des forces gravitationnelles d~amplitude telle à être suffisantes pour supporter des forces qui agissent de manière telle à avoir tendance à déplacer la turbine (1) et ses structures de support associées (4, 8, 15), la structure de base/fondation étant pré-assemblée et est de construction telle à être transportable jusqu~à un emplacement nécessaire d~installation pour être baissée jusqu~au fond marin ou un lit de rivière. De façon pratique, le transport se fait au moyen d~un navire d~installation (9) qui incorpore des équipements (12, 13) pour baisser l~assemblage entier d~une turbine (1), une colonne de support (4) pour celle-ci, et la structure de base/fondation (8, 15) de manière contrôlée pour reposer dans une position souhaitée sur le lit de rivière ou le fond marin (SB).
