A greeting card balloon clip, combined media greeting assembly and method includes a decorative clip having a body of sufficient mass to ballast a greeting balloon filled with a lighter than air gas tethered to a tethering point on the body of the clip and gripping tabs on a rear surface of the clip for receiving and gripping a peripheral edge of a greeting card, whereby a greeting balloon is secured to a greeting card to create a combined media greeting assembly. Decorative or communicative indicia may be applied to a frontal surface of the body of the clip whereby messages and/or graphics may be coordinated between the combined clip, balloon and/or greeting card.
