A grid-shaped spacer has a web aperture (5) located in a sheet-metal web (2) and having two spaced mutually opposite aperture edges (11a; 11b); these aperture edges (11a) and (11b) oppose the elongation of an elongate spring (7) which is curved about a direction transverse to its own longitudinal direction and which, at each of two spring ends, engages with a tab (7a; 13, 15) through the web aperture (5). At least one tab (7a; 13) is snapped into a notch (11a) in a spring edge (10a) opposing the elongation of the spring (7).
