A grill is equipped with a ceran glass cooking device. The ceran glass cooking device includes a ceran glass cooking surface placed over an infrared burner. The infrared burner includes a base having at least one chamber, wherein each chamber includes an opening connected to a conduit for flammable gas to enter. There is also a perforated plate positioned within each chamber on the base directly below the ceran glass. There is also an ignition device to ignite the flammable gas. The gas burns on the perforated plate itself and the heat radiation generated by the flame transfers through the ceran glass and onto the food placed directly on the ceran glass. Additionally, since the ceran glass does not contain any spaces or holes, food of all sizes and shapes may be cooked directly on the glass without a need for a skewer or any kind of holding utensil. The grill may also be equipped with other cooking devices in addition to the ceran glass cooking device.
