A grind plate for a skate having a boot with a sole including a toe area and heel area, a frame attached to the boot, wheels with wheel bores rotatably mounted to the frame, and a plurality of axle apertures in the frame coaxially aligned with the wheel bores. The grind plate includes a toe platform having an upper surface opposing a portion of the toe area of the sole and a heel platform having an upper surface opposing a portion of the heel area of the sole. The grind plate also has an elongated lower portion extending downwardly from the toe platform and the heel platform such that the lower portion is adjacent to selected areas of the frame when the grind plate is attached to the skate. Finally, the grind plate includes fastening means for fastening the grind plate to the skate.
L'invention porte sur une plaquette de glissement pour un patin comportant une chaussure avec une semelle incluant une zone orteil et une zone talon, un porte-roues fixé à la chaussure, des roues avec alésages montées de façon rotative sur le porte-roues et, dans ce dernier, une série d'ouvertures à essieu alignées coaxialement avec les trous des roues. La plaquette de glissement comprend une plate-forme orteil comportant une surface supérieure opposée à une partie de la zone orteil de la semelle et une plate-forme talon comportant une surface supérieure opposée à une partie de la zone talon de la semelle. Elle comporte également une partie inférieure allongée se prolongeant vers le bas à partir des plates-formes orteil et talon, de sorte que la partie inférieure se trouve près de sections choisies du porte-roues lorsque la plaquette de glissement est fixée au patin. Finalement, la plaquette inclut des éléments de fixation pour se fixer au patin.
