A grinding apparatus (1) for grinding the hard meal inserts or working tips of drill (percussive or rotary) (2), tunnel boring machine cutters (TMB) and raised bore machine cutters /RBM), said grinding apparatus (1) having means for holding one or more bits (2) to be ground and a grinding machine (5) carried by an arm or lever system (6) that permits movement of the grinding machine (5) relative to the longitudinal axis of the button (2) of the bit to be ground wherein means are provided to assist with alignment the grinding machine (5) with the longitudinal axis of the button (2) to be ground.
Cette invention a trait à une machine à meuler servant à meuler des pièces rapportées en métal dur, des pointes de travail d'outils de forage (à percussion ou rotatifs), des couteaux de traceuses de galerie et des couteaux de foreuse en surface. Cet appareillage comporte des moyens permettant de maintenir en place un ou plusieurs outils de forage à meuler ainsi qu'une meuleuse portée par un bras ou un système de levier autorisant un déplacement de la meuleuse par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de la dent coupante de l'outil de forage à meuler. Cette machine est également pourvue d'éléments de guidage permettant d'aligner la meuleuse sur l'axe longitudinal de la dent coupante à meuler.
