A B S T R A C T A grinding device having a rotatable grinding disc and stationary grinding disc co-axial to the rotatable disc is disclosed. For improved grounding result the grinding sur- face of the stationary grinding disc is divided in a still- standing main portion and a plurality of separately rotatable grinding surface portions which are driveable in selective rotational directions.
