A gripper arrangement for sheet processing machines having gripper supports at the end of a rocker is disclosed. Moveable grippers are assigned to the gripper supports in a spring loaded manner. The movement of the gripper is controlled by means of a cam segment which is swivellable against spring loading by means of a feeler roller which runs over a cam disc. With this arrangement the spring loading of the grippers results from spring loading of one or more of the cam segments. The arrangement is of a relatively simple construction end is also suitable for high performance machines.
