A gripping apparatus for tubular goods is disclosed. The apparatus comprises two in respect of each other pivotable jaws and a working cylinder that effects motion of the jaws in respect of a stationary housing. A counter block is arranged between the jaws in the housing and each jaw is by forced motion movably arranged in respect of the counter block. The moveable forced motion causes axial forth and back displacement simultaneous with the opening/closing of the jaws. The working cylinder is connected to each jaw via respective articulated connection forming pivot axis for the pivotable jaws.
L'invention concerne un appareil de préhension (1) pour éléments tubulaires. L'appareil comprend deux mâchoires (1a, 1b) pivotant l'une par rapport à l'autre ainsi qu'un vérin de travail (8) mettant en mouvement les mâchoires (1a, 1b) par rapport à un logement fixe (2). Un contre-bloc (7) est agencé entre les mâchoires (1a, 1b) dans le logement (2), et chaque mâchoire est disposée mobile par un mouvement forcé par rapport au contre-bloc (7). Le mouvement forcé en mobilité engendre un déplacement axial vers l'avant et vers l'arrière simultané à l'ouverture/fermeture des mâchoires (1a, 1b). Le vérin de travail (8) est relié à chaque mâchoire (1a, 1b) par l'intermédiaire d'une connexion articulée respective formant un axe de pivot pour les mâchoires pivotantes.
