An improved tree gripping unit attachment means is provided for attaching a tree gripping unit to a vehicle for working in a forest. The tree gripping unit is mounted laterally on a pusher blade at either end thereof using the attachment means thereby providing for a wide range of movement in both the vertical and horizontal planes through actuators provided for actuating the tree gripping unit from the vehicle cabin.
