Full plastic grocery bags are painful on the fingers to carry and fall open when set down on the ground or in the trunk of a car. This invention is a device used to carry plastic grocery bags which overcomes these problems. The device consists of a nylon strap inserted through a rigid plastic tube of shorter length. Secured at each end of the nylon strap is one half of a buckle mechanism. After one end of the "Grocery Grip" is passed through the inside of the handles of the grocery bag(s) it is looped back outside the handles and buckled into the other end. The grocery bag handles are held together within the closed loop created by this device. The rigid plastic tube serves as the handle of the device and therefore is the part of the device grasped by the user to pick up the grocery bag(s).
En plus de causer un important inconfort au niveau des mains de la personne qui les transporte, les sacs à provisions remplis ont tendance à s'ouvrir lorsque déposés par terre ou au fond du coffre d'une automobile. L'invention proposée consiste en une poignée qui facilite le transport des sacs à provisions en plastique et qui empêche les sacs d'ouvrir lorsque déposés. La poignée est composée d'une courroie de nylon insérée à l'intérieur d'un petit tube de longueur inférieure. € l'une et l'autre extrémités de la courroie sont fixées les parties mâle et femelle d'une boucle rapide. Une extrémité de la courroie est passée à travers les poignées du (ou des) sac(s) en plastique et ramenée vers l'autre extrémité de la courroie pour boucler la boucle. Le dispositif ainsi bouclé maintient les poignées du sac à provisions rapprochées et le sac fermé.
