Cette dernière est formée par deux plans courbés convexes qui se coupent le long d'un arc contenu dans les deux plans pour former une arête de palpage. Les plans en question sont symétriques par rapport à l'arc et ce dernier est légèrement arrondi en direction normale audit arc.
