ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A ground electrode pad for an electro-surgical unit is made of a flexible conductive cloth, a self-adhering adhesive layer which is coated on the surface of said con- ductive cloth and a metal terminal secured to said conductive cloth. The ground electrode pad can be excellently contoured to a human body so as to cause no local concentration of current density.
