Dislcosed herein is a ground location marker, comprising a base plate portion having a lower surface, and an anchor means for anchoring the base plate portion relative to a first designated ground location adjacent the lower surface. The anchor means is arranged to allow the base plate portion to be displaced from the first designated ground location to a second displaced location and is operable to bias the base plate toward the first designated ground location.
