The invention concerns a ground power supply for an electric vehicle (5), comprising supply segments (52) insulated from one another and each with a length less than half the length of the vehicle (5) support on the ground, for charging a power supply segment (52) only when said segment is located in the vehicle (5) support on the ground, said vehicle (5) comprising a power supply sliding contact (80) and the device being capable of charging two adjacent segments (52) while the sliding contact (80) is in simultaneous contact with these two segments (52), and of earthing one of the two segments (52) a short while after the sliding contact (80) has left this segment (52).
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'alimentation par le sol pour véhicule électrique (5), comportant des segments d'alimentation (52) isolés les uns des autres et ayant chacun une longueur inférieure à la moitié de la longueur de l'emprise au sol du véhicule (5), apte à mettre un segment (52) sous une tension d'alimentation uniquement lorsque ledit segment (52) se trouve dans l'emprise au sol du véhicule (5), le véhicule (5) comportant un frotteur d'alimentation (80) et le dispositif étant apte à mettre deux segments (52) adjacents sous tension d'alimentation pendant que le frotteur (80) est en contact simultané avec ces deux segments (52), et à mettre l'un des deux segments (52) à la terre un court instant après que le frotteur (80) ait quitté ce segment (52).
