A control station for use individually or as an element of a distributed process control system has an improved high frequency isolation and grounding system incorporating a "Chomeric" conductive foil tape on both the cabinet front and back walls as well as on the doors and a V-shaped "Chomeric" conductive gasket placed between the cabinet wall and the door in the area of the conductive tape to insure proper sealing of the door and opening to eliminate all RFI (radio frequency interference) problems and meet European standards for RFI cabinet emmissions. This cabinet also has a grounding system comprising a large area swing clip for removing the door as well as a hybrid grounding circuit to eliminate ground potential differences due to geological variations found in different parts of the landscape since the signals reaching the cabinet may originate at remote locations up to a mile or more from the cabinet. The circuit accomplishes this by grounding the DC signals at only one end while the AC signals are grounded at both ends

Cette invention concerne un poste de contrôle autonome ou intégré à un réseau réparti de contrôle de procédé, caractérisé par un système amélioré de mise à la masse et de protection contre les hautes fréquences mettant en oeuvre un ruban mince conducteur «Chomeric» sur les parois avant et arrière de l'armoire ainsi que sur les panneaux d'accès, outre un joint conducteur «Chomeric» en V placé entre la paroi de l'armoire et le panneau d'accès, à l'endroit du ruban conducteur susmentionné pour réaliser un isolement approprié du panneau d'accès et de l'ouverture, éliminer tous les problèmes de parasitage haute fréquence et satisfaire aux normes européennes de protection antibrouillage. L'armoire comprend un système de mise à la masse comportant un clip à grand débattement pour l'enlèvement du panneau d'accès ainsi qu'un circuit de mise à la masse hybride permettant d'éliminer les différences de potentiel attribuables aux variations géologiques caractérisant différents endroits du site d'implantation compte tenu que les signaux transmis au poste de contrôle peuvent provenir d'endroits éloignés parfois de plus d'un mille. Le circuit assure la protection voulue par la mise à la masse des signaux c.c. à un seul bout et les signaux c.a. aux deux bouts du circuit.
