ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a flat cable energy distribution system in which the conductors of the cable are connected to a device in a box, the box is grounded to the ground conductor of the cable by a point extending from the metal base of the box. An insulating bar with a through-hole through which the point extends re- ceives the cable between pairs of projections and an elastic metal strip overlies the cable and is disposed between pairs of such projections. The strip and the bar are secured at their ends to the base by screws which pass through the bar and the strip and which engage the base. When they are so secured, the point pierces the insulation of the ground conductor and engages the conductor, and the strip is elastically deformed causing it to apply pressure to the conductor and thereby causing the latter to press against the point.
