The invention relates to a method and apparatus for electrically grounding and supporting poles or posts which are used in electrical and/or telecommunication networks. The system includes a conductive base support affixed at or near the base of the pole and to which the ground wire is attached. The base support not only provides resistance to lateral forces, thereby anchoring the bottom of the pole, but also presents a relatively large surface area for electrical bonding with the soil/earth at the bottom of the pole which facilitates grounding.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de mise à la terre et de support pour des poteaux ou des bornes d'accumulateur utilisés dans des réseaux de télécommunication et/ou électriques. Le système comprend un support de base conducteur fixé à la base ou à proximité du poteau et auquel est relié le fil de terre. Le support de base fourni non seulement une résistance aux forces latérales par ancrage de la partie inférieure du poteau, mais également il présente une zone de surface relativement large dans la partie inférieure du poteau facilitant ainsi la mise à la terre.
