The invention concerns a group of three stator windings (W1, W2, W3) for a stator (S) of an electric machine, a stator arrangement, a generator, and wind turbine, whereas the stator (S) having a first cylindrical surface with a plurality circumferentially spaced winding slots (WS1, WS2, ...) formed in it, each winding slot (WS1, WS2, ...) extending along an axial length of the first cylindrical surface and set up to embed a segment of a single stator winding (W1, W2, W3), each stator winding (W1, W2, W3) is pre-formed as a closed loop, two substantially parallel segments of each stator winding (W1, W2, W3) set up to be embedded in a first (WS1, WS3, WS5) and a second winding slot (WS2, WS4, WS6) of the stator (6), with the second winding slot (WS2, WS4, WS6) being the third adjacent winding slot to the first winding slot (WS1, WS3, WS5),each of the three stator windings (W1, W2, W3) having a first winding head segment (WH1, WH2, WH3) leaving the winding slots (WS1, WS2, ...) in axial direction of the stator (S). Furthermore the first winding head segments (WH1, WH2, WH3) of the three stator windings (W1, W2, W3) differ in form so that the first winding head segments (WH1, WH2, WH3) of at least two of the three stator windings (W1, W2, W3) are differently tilted in radial direction of the electric machine and the length of the three stator windings (W1, W2, W3) is substantially the same.
