Due to climatic conditions in Canada, gardeners who wish to start their plants in the early spring have to do so indoors or risk losing them to frost or other weather conditions. In addition, gardeners who wish to save their plants from early frosts in the fall have to resort to covering them with a variety of items including bed sheets. This invention, called GROWING PANES, will provide these gardeners with a light, sturdy, portable plastic greenhouse to be used to start plants in the spring and to protect plants in the fall. The product is designed with a recessed handle for easy manipulation and is shaped to be easily stacked for storage. This invention is intended to be made of clear plastic, either injected or moulded. Recycled clear soft drink bottles could be used in the manufacturing process. Although the invention as currently visualized is three feet long, two feet wide and three feet high, any variety of dimensions could be used. The invention may be vented for better ventilation.
