X-7647A Abstract The present invention provides novel analogs of growth hormone releasing factor (GRF). Chemically modified versions of these molecules are also provided as are DNA compounds encoding GRF analogs. Some of the polypeptide compounds can be obtained in large yields by production of the compounds in E. coli. The inven- tion also provides pharmaceutical compositions and methods for the inducement of growth hormone release.
