A guardrail beam (34) for installation along a roadway includes a top edge (42) and a bottom edge (44). A plurality of crowns (46, 48) may be disposed longitudinally along the guardrail beam between the top edge (42) and the bottom edge (44). A first fold (52) may be disposed upon the top edge (42) and a second fold (54) may be disposed upon the bottom edge (44). In a particular embodiment, one or more fluted beads (50) may be disposed longitudinally along at least one crown. The guardrail beam may also include hemmed portions (56, 58) at the top edge and/or bottom edge at the downstream ends of the guardrail beam.
L'invention concerne un glissière (34) de sécurité destinée à être installée en bordure de chaussée, comprenant un bord supérieur (42) et un bord inférieur (44).
