ABSTRACT Guide and control device for an agricultural machine subjected in operation to a high lateral thrust in relation to its direction of traction, such as a disk- type stubble-plough. This machine is equipped with a guide and control system comprising, at the front, a set of freely os- cillating twin wheels (5a, 5b), of which the orientation for the change from a road-travel position to a soil- working position is controlled from a bar ( 17 ) fox coupling to the tractor; a carrying wheel (9) is arranged in the central part of the frame (1), and at the rear are arranged freely oscillating twin carrying wheels (6a, 6b) and furrow wheels (7, 8) controllable simultaneously from their road-travel position to their working position, and vice versa. The multiplicity of carrying wheels guar- antees that sufficient grip with the soil is maintained permanently, thus preventing any lateral slip of the machine during passage over a movable obstacle, this also being assisted by the automatic orientation of the twin wheels by means of their freely oscillating mounting. Cette invention concerne un dispositif de guidage et de commande pour machine agricole soumise en cours de travail à une poussée latérale élevée par rapport au sens de traction, une déchaumeuse à disques par exemple. Cette machine est équipée d'un système de commande et de guidage comprenant, à l'avant, un jeu de roues doubles pivotants (5a, 5b) dont l'orientation pour le passage d'une position de roulement sur route à une position de travail du sol est réglée par une barre (17) d'accouplement au tracteur; une roue porteuse (9) dans la partie centrale du châssis porte-disques (1) et, à l'arrière, un jeu de roues doubles porteuses pivotant librement (6a, 6b) et des roues-guide (7, 8) déplaçables simultanément de leur position de roulement sur route à leur position de travail et vice versa. Les roues porteuses multiples assurent une prise appropriée en tout temps, prévenant ainsi le dérapage latéral au passage d'un obstacle délogeable. Cette aptitude est renforcée par l'orientation automatique des roues doubles grâce à leur montage pivotant.
