A guide bar for chain saws includes a first guide plate, a second guide plate and a spacer plate which is sandwiched between the first and second guide plates. Each of the first and second guide plates has a plurality of protrusions extending from an outer side thereof and recesses defined in an inner side thereof. A groove is defined along an outer periphery of the spacer plate and located between the first and second guide plates so as to receive the chain. The protrusions and recesses reinforce the structural strength of the guide bar and reduce the friction between the guide bar and the object to be cut.
Un guide-chaîne pour scies à chaîne comprend une première plaque de guidage, une seconde plaque de guidage et une plaque d'écartement en sandwich entre la première et la seconde plaques de guidage. Chacune de ces deux plaques présente de multiples protubérances dépassant de l'un de ses côtés extérieurs et des évidements pratiqués dans un de ses côtés intérieurs. Une rainure longe le tour de la plaque d'écartement et est intercalée entre la première et la seconde plaques de guidage, de façon à recevoir la chaîne. Les protubérances et évidements renforcent la résistance structurale du guide-chaîne et diminuent le frottement entre le guide-chaîne et l'objet à couper.
