A B S T R A C T A portable guiding device for circular power saws comprises a base plate affixed to an elongated frame provided with two aligned recesses in the central portion thereof for passage of the saw blade. A pair of spaced, parallel cross rails rigidly secured to the frame above the base plate is provided for slidable movement of a power saw thereon. The guiding device is capable of producing consistently true right angle cuts in woody boards and the like sheet materials.
