The invention relates to a guide roll (1) with a fixing device (V) for blocking running and/or steering of the guide roll (2) that is accommodated in a fork (3). The fork (3) is pivotally mounted around a vertical axis (y-y). The guide roll comprises an actuating tappet (11). A protuberance (22) provided for blocking braking or steering is configured at the end (11'') of the tappet, whereby said end faces the guide roll. The tappet (11) co-operates with counter-projections (25) provided for blocking steering. The counter- projections are fixed to the fork. The aim of the invention is to produce said guide roll in a simple manner such that said roll is easy to assemble. To this end, a combination component (K) is provided. The counter-projections (25) for blocking steering and the means (26) for blocking braking are embodied on said combination component. The counter-projections for blocking steering and the means for blocking braking are situated in levels (E'-E', E''-E'') which are distanced from one another. The protuberance (22) provided for blocking braking or steering of the tappet (11) is situated between said levels in a neutral position.

La présente invention concerne un galet de direction (1) pourvu d'un dispositif de fixation (V) permettant le blocage de roulement et/ou de direction de la roue de roulement (2) montée dans une fourche (3). Ladite fourche est montée elle-même autour d'un axe vertical (y-y) de façon à pouvoir pivoter. Ce galet de direction est également pourvu d'un piston de commande (11), sur l'extrémité côté roue de roulement (11'') duquel un élément en saillie de blocage de freinage ou de direction (22) est formé. Le piston (11) coopère également avec des parties en saillie opposées de blocage de roulement (25) qui sont fixées sur la fourche. L'objectif de cette invention est de proposer une solution pour une construction simple et un montage peu coûteux. Cette solution réside dans une partie de combinaison (K) sur laquelle aussi bien les parties en saillie opposées de blocage de roulement (25) que le système de blocage de freinage (26) sont formés. Ces parties sont situées dans des plans distants les uns des autres (E'-E', E''-E''). L'élément en saillie de blocage de freinage ou de direction (22) du piston (11) se trouve dans une position neutre (figure 1), entre ces plans.
