A guideway transfer switch (10) for guiding vehicles between fixed guide tracks (22, 24, 26) includes a plurality of guide tracks (28, 30) extending in a first direction secured to transfer drives for moving said tracks in a substantially transverse direction with respect to the first direction of the guide tracks. A locking mechanism (56) located on the guide tracks secures the switch in position. A linear bearing (36) aids the movement of the switch between positions. Limit switches (38, 40, 42, 44, 62) detect the movement of the beams and the locking mechanism.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'aiguillage (10) destiné au guidage de véhicules entre des voies de guidage fixes (22, 24, 26), et comprenant un ensemble de rails de guidage (28, 30) qui s'étendent dans une première direction fixée pour transférer des commandes afin de déplacer lesdits rails de guidage transversalement par rapport à leur orientation initiale. Un mécanisme de verrouillage (56) placé sur les rails de guidage immobilise alors le dispositif d'aiguillage dans sa nouvelle position. Une douille à billes (36) facilite le déplacement du dispositif d'aiguillage entre différentes positions. Les interruptions fin de courses (62) détectent les mouvements des poutres et du mécanisme de verrouillage.
