ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a device for transporting in print- ing machines, especially in teleprinters, paper which is perforated along two opposite edges. The plates of the printing machine is provided at both ends with apertures distributed around its circumference, at a spacing corresponding to the spacing of the perforations of the paper. Within the platen and at each end is a pin wheel rotatably and eccentrically disposed so that at any given time only some of the pins of each pin wheel extend through the apertures in the platen and into the perforations of the paper. Since the pins only project over only a limited region of the platen, they present less obstruction in the machine, and insertion of the paper is simplified.
