The invention relates to a guiding device for metal sheet printing machines (10) and metal sheet painting machines, which have at least two printing cylinders (11; 12) and a transfer drum (17) situated therebetween. The guiding device is arranged on said transfer drum (17) and, to be precise, is located close to the imaginary cylindrical outer surface (21) of the transfer drum (17). The guiding device comprises at least one guiding element (31) with an outwardly turned bearing surface (32) for supporting the rear edge (33) of the metal sheets (30). The guiding element (31) is pivotally mounted by means of a swivel bearing (35) whose pivotal axis is parallel to the axis (18) of the transfer drum (17). The guiding element (31) is coupled to a pivot drive by means of which its bearing surface (32) can be adjusted to different pivoting angles (.szlig.) with regard to the tangent (36) to the imaginary cylindrical outer surface (21) of the transfer drum (17). This pivoting angle (.szlig.) is larger at the rotating position of the transfer drum (17) at which the rear edge (33) of the metal sheets (30) rest against the guiding element (31), and is smaller at the rotating position at which the rear edge (33) of the metal sheets (30) leave the guiding element (31).

La présente invention concerne un système de guidage pour machines d'impression de feuilles de tôle (10) et machines de laquage de feuilles de tôle qui présentent au moins deux cylindres d'impression (11; 12) et un tambour de transfert (17) disposé entre ceux-ci. Ledit système de guidage est disposé contre le tambour de transfert (17) c'est-à-dire tout près de la surface périphérique cylindrique imaginaire (21) du tambour de transfert (17). Le système de guidage présente au moins un élément de guidage (31) doté d'une surface d'appui (32) inversée vers l'extérieur servant d'appui à l'arête arrière (33) des feuilles de tôle (30). L'élément de guidage (31) est disposé de manière à pouvoir effectuer un pivotement axial, au moyen d'un palier de pivotement (35) dont l'axe de pivotement est parallèle à l'axe (18) du tambour de transfert (17). L'élément de guidage (31) est couplé à un entraînement de pivotement grâce auquel sa surface d'appui (32) peut être orientée pour former différents angles de pivotement (.szlig.) avec la tangente (36) à la surface périphérique cylindrique imaginaire (21) du tambour de transfert (17). Cet angle de pivotement (.szlig.) est supérieur au niveau de la zone de rotation du tambour de transfert (17), au niveau de laquelle l'arête arrière (33) des feuilles de tôle (30) appuie contre l'élément de guidage (31), et est inférieur au niveau de la zone de rotation au niveau de laquelle l'arête arrière (33) des feuilles de tôle (30) se sépare de l'élément de guidage (31).
