A guitar pick tether includes, in combination, a tether line, a guitar pick and a suction cup. The tether line has a first end and a second end. The guitar pick is secured to the first end of the tether line. The suction cup is secured to the second end of the tether line. The tether line can be tethered to a guitar using the suction cup, without risk of damage to the finish of the guitar.
