Abstract of the Disclosure What is disclosed is an improved sealant compound extruding gun wherein the improvement comprises the use of a flexible shield cap which fits inside the sealing gun nozzle and itself forms the extrusion gun nozzle. The object of the flexible shield cap is to prevent soiling of the inside of the gun with sealing compound and also to allow flexibility in the width of the nozzle so that different width joints can be serviced by the same extrusion gun. The package for the sealing compound is designed to enhance the effectiveness of the non-soiling feature of the flexible shield cap.
