ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gun projectile with a chamber for generation of com- bustion gases from a propellant grain, said chamber being arranged with at least one gas outlet in its base plane, said propellant grain having a burning area so adapted to the area of the gas outlet/outlets, that the pressure is less than 10 bar and prefer- ably not exceeding the base pressure more than 0.01-0.5 bar, the size of the grain being suited for generation of combustion gases during a considerable part of the flight time of the projectile.
