In a gun registration display holder for use on a gunstock comprising: a flexible sheet material having an opening to which a transparent material is affixed and adapted to be located at one face of a gunstock, a flexible sheet material adapted to be located at the opposite face of a gunstock, a flexible elastic membrane fixedly attached to both upper edges of said flexible material pieces, fastening means for joining both lower portions of flexible sheet material, a rectangular backing sheet having dimensions equal to those of the clear window but slightly greater than those of the opening in the front flexible sheet material so as to be fixedly sewn to three edges near the opening forming a pocket between clear window and backing sheet where a gun registration document may be securely inserted. Gun owner can thereby insert the registration document into the opening of the holder to conveniently display said document through transparent window.
