ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gun sight mounting device for mounting a telescopic sight, on a rifle of the pattern having two spaced apart supporting structures adjacent the breech mechanism of the rifle, and the mounting device being provided with two spaced apart attachment members for attachment to such support structures, and including fastening means for fastening said attachment members to said support structures without drilling, tapping or machining.
